Classical Harappan sites are mainly concentrated in the Kachchh region of Gujarat. Classical Harappan sites can be dated between 2600 – 1900 BCE. Classical Harappan ceramics from the sites of Gujarat include goblets, beakers, black slipped jars, S-profile jars, etc. Dholavira, Desalpur, Surkotada, Pabumath, Kanmer, Juni Kuran, Shikarpur and Khirasara, Lothal, Rangpur, Nageswar, Bagasra, Nagwada and Zekhda are some of the major sites in Gujarat that have Classical Harappan features.
