DEPARTMENT OF ARCHAEOLOGY

Metal technology has been used in pottery, the stone industry, and even architecture. Explorations at Moti chher led to the discovery of a variety of copper items. This site has discovered copper ornaments such as bangles and earrings, as well as copper foiling fragments. These manufacturing wastes suggest that copper was produced in that region. Copper objects like arrowheads, seals and sealings were found at the site. Other copper objects of this site were similar to the findings from other early historic sites like Hathab, Desalpar and Kanmer.
